A great day at Crows Hall, Debenham, Suffolk. Painting with the East Suffolk Plein Air group. The old barns are very atmospheric spaces. This small disused stable had a great atmosphere with the light coming through the back window giving a diffused illumination to the interior.

Crows Hall hosts weddings in its spectacular fully Restored Tudor Barn, but this painting is of a much smaller building, probably an old stable, awaiting restoration and full of character.
This is a plein air painting finished in the studio.
