Description

Sunset over the Gardjola Gardens, Senglea was painted in March 2024 from a plein air sketch made form the footpath beside Fort St Angelo. In March the sun goes down behind the Gardjola which give a surrealist effect of it being on fire! Later in the year the sun moves over towards Valletta and sinks down over the city. So this painting depicts a view you will only see in the months March to April.
Painted in Oils on triple primed gesso panel size: 50 cm x 50cm
Framed in white wood and ready to hang, framed size 52cm x 52 cm
