The Ford over the River Stour in Great Wratting is hidden away down a back road. It is a great Plein Air location as there is little traffic and its easy to set up off the road to paint the Ford. Painted Plein Air in October 2021 in Suffolk near Newmarket. The leaves on the trees were just beginning to acquire their deep autumn colours yet the weather was still warm. Amanda will definitely visit this location again this winter when the scene will have radically changed!
