This is a 2 day plein air painting in oils on board.
The boats were moored at the waterfront in Senglea Malta.
I have captured the intense Mediterranean blue reflected in the cruise ships hull. The colour in this part of Malta dockyards is quite often intense with full sun reflecting off the boats.

This is one of my favourite marine paintings!
