Plein air painting done at Orchard Tea Rooms, Grantchester, Cambridge . Final finishing done in studio.

In May 2022 I went to paint at Grantchester meeting the Cambridge Outdoor Painters at the Orchard Tea Rooms.
This family caught my eye as I loved the way they were just having a quiet relax in the afternoon summer sun.
After speaking to them I discovered that they had brought their son to  Cambridge to visit where he was born. The son kindly posed for me looking directly at me,…I couldn’t manage the reflections but I loved the glasses.
